NPR: accidentally lost images from camera
i was trying to load pics from my camera's memory card into a digital frame we bought for our moms for mother's day and it didn't work, when i put the memory card back into my camera - it keeps saying no images available. i'm SO upset i had pics of DD in there and a wedding we went to that i had not loaded onto the pc yet  WHY do they make these stupid frames so complicated??? my brother tried loading the pics too (he's more tech savvy than I am) and he couldn't do it either. does anyone have any experience with this? is there a way to retrieve the images somehow - thanks

Oh no, I'm sorry.  I agree that they are hard to use, my mother had to return hers because it was impossible.

I've gotten that error message & still had the photos. I was in a panic too as I had over 1500 photos from everyone's shoots that day.
DO NOT REFORMAT YOUR CARD.
I changed my battery (it was low) and tried it again.

i thought it would be a cute gift for the grandmothers but they both couldn't figure out so they gave it to me to do (3 months later) and they weren't cheap - i'm annoyed. i got them at best buy and prob can't return them now

thanks for the tip - i'll try again. i removed that memory card and bought another one (i didnt' reformat the old one) but i will try the battery with that card again. OMG 1500 pics - i'd be panicking too. its hard to get good shots of her now because she reaches for the camera and is always moving
