NPR--anyone have exp w/rotator cuff surgery?

My mom might have to get shoulder surgery on her rotator cuff...she has rheumatoid arthritis, so she's already on steroid meds...so she's not the best candidate for surgery....but if that is the best thing, I want her to have it done...

I really hope she didn't hurt her shoulder carrying DD or carrying that car seat I know we'd never know how she tore her ligaments, but I just hate knowing my mom is in pain. She is never the one to talk about her "condition", in fact, she almost never talks about it--I think she doesn't want me to worry
