NPR, but I post most here and I need to just vent
DH is currently a surgeon at a hospital in NYC. He makes a good salary, but the hospital has been doing some cutbacks and we have been on edge for months. About 3 months ago, DH went on an interview at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston and was offered a job. While I am very excited to be moving to Boston, the thought of being 5 hours away from my family with 2 small children scares me to death. Well, earlier this week, DH went on another interview at Yale-New Haven Hospital in CT. He was offered a position there as well, for just slightly less money. It's still enough to allow us to live comfertably though. If ge takes this job, we would look into moving into a New Haven suburb, most likely in the Brandford, Guilford, Madison area. This is only 90 min. from LI, and it would be much less of a change. DH says he'll take the job in CT, to make it easier on our family, but I feel like he's just doing that for me, and I would hate to have this Boston job hanging over his head forever. Both are great opprotunities, but New Haven is just more conveniant all around. Cost of living, being close to family, everything. I don't know, I just needed to get this out, I am so stressed. DS will be 1 in 2 weeks, I am 7 months PG with DD, my grandmother's death is still very fresh and I have not gotten over that yet, and we need to figure out what we are doing because DH needs to accept a job and we need to move by the end of 2009. I just want to SCREAM!!
