NPR: Engagement Gift
My SIL is having an engagement party tomorrow and I think we're just going to give them $100 in a card. That's fine right? They don't live together yet and for some reason people are buying tons of stuff off of their registry for the EP. Seems strange to me...

I personally don't have an issue with it. I really don't 'get' engagement parties....but that's just me.
Give what you can afford....plain & simple. $100 to me is a-okay!
