NPR- house offer UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you ladies could spare some of that LIF magic for me today I would really appreciate it. I am so stressed out waiting to hear back on the offer we put in for our first home. We did a contract thursday afternoon, then had to redo the contract friday afternoon b/c there is a relocation company involved. They don't work over the weekend, so there was a delay in us hearing anything. We have being going back & forth talking about renting back, which I am hoping is a good sign. Now our lender is being a pain in the butt, and we are waiting on them for a new pre-approval letter. I just hope they get it done for us asap so the relocation company can make a decision. This is torture almost as bad as the 2ww! If this deal worked out we would be able to move into a home, and not have to rent again once  arrives. Our lease ends July 31st, and I am due June 13th. The seller wants to rent back until sometime in June b/c they have little ones in school. This worked out great for us so we don't have to pay rent/mortgage. Also our new house is too far from where I plan to deliver so we wanted to stay at the apt until after arrives. Ahhh...sorry this is so long I am just biting my nails hear waiting to find out. TIA!!!!

I just wanted to say thank you for all the well wishes today. They must be working! We found out they are accepting our offer, they didn't even counter! We had to go in to initial a few changes to the contract nothing major. I can say dealing through a relocation company (the seller is using) has been a PIA! so much extra paperwork. Our agent told us the contract could be ratified as early as tomorrow. So thank you & keep sending the magic.

That's great!
Be careful about renting back... my real estate agent warned us against this. We ended up doing a later closure after being in contract for almost 5 months to avoid this. Her rational was that you never know... if you rent it back, people may decide last minute to stay... and then you may have to evict them which is very hard to do with small children or old people (I know... paranoid, but she's seen it before).
