NPR- My FIL passed away last night
He was still very young.. so sad. The first thing out of my DH's mouth was "He will never get to meet his first grandchild" 
i feel so helpless

Oh I am so terribly sorry. Sadly I know how you and your DH must be feeling as I lost my mom when I was PG and my Dad 3 years before that. I hope that you are able to get through this tough time as easily as possible. Many prayers to you.

I am so sorry for you and your DH.
DH's dad passed away suddenly 9 days after we found out I was preggo...we hadn't even told anyone yet. It's so hard knowing that he died without knowing he had a granddaughter on the way, but he will be looking down on your LO.
