NPR: Recommend a photo editing program
So I would like to start editing photos we take but have zero experience. Are their any easy to use programs out there that won't break the bank??

Re: NPR: Recommend a photo editing program
Try PICASA. It is free and it does so much. I took a class on it and the teachers calls it "the best software never sold." I would highly recommend the teacher's book. he sells in a few places, including Amazon . In the book he provides an e-mail address where you can ask him questions. He actually has responded to me. Photoshop is great if you use it a lot. I will go back to it if I have more time for editing in the future and if I can get a recent version of it.
PS: PICASA is a download from Google. You should be able to find it online easily. I even make collages and 12x12 scrapbook pages in PICASA.
