NPR: Thanksgiving restaurants on LI
So, we're debating on what to do for Thanksgiving. I've done it in the past, and I thoroughly enjoy cooking and making it when I didn't have a rambuctious 10 month old who will be 11 months then... I'm weighing my options, one of which is to go out with the family for dinner (not my ideal situation) but wanted to see if there were any highly recommended places on the island for the holiday that people have tried!

not sure what area you need but so far I have found The Carltun and La Marmite will have Thanksgiving dinners
check Newsday.com

thanks....we're in Oceanside, so we prefer Nassau, south or north shore doesn't matter!

also forgot to mention that Milleridge Inn is open
I'm sure there are a lot more but I've only been interested in one area since it has be an equal distance from Whitestone and Smithtown

jen, westbury manor is delish..and we may be there too lol paul and i are arguing about this currently, because we'll be moving 3 days later and ill be very pregnant with a crazy 11 month old and 11 year old running around..i usually cook it, for my parents, us and dh's parents..
if we go out, this is where we'll be..discuss tomorrow :)

I know it's a little far but the view is really nice at 105 Harbor in Cold Spring Harbor. The food was delicious as well. I would love to do that again!
