NT scan . . . Internal or external US?
I should remember the answer to this since I've done it twice before. Was your NT scan US internal, external or both?

how many weeks are you?
at 6 and 9 weeks I had an internal. at 12 I had a external
3 babies and 3 doctors

It's external. Unless they can't see something and they think internal would help that. But vast majority of the time it's external only.

Had mine yesterday. They did both for me because baby was not cooperating plus they checked my cervix.

I had mine yesterday and it was external only. It was a really cool one, too. We saw EVERYTHING. Even the baby's little face!

Thanks everyone. I'll be almost 13 weeks, so hopefully they can see all external. I'm sure I'm not alone in disliking the internals!

Oh yeah by then def should external. Internal are only b/c they can't see much b/c the position and small the baby is.

I had mine last night at 12w2d and it was all through the abdominal/pelvic sono! The drinking the water though... that killed me!

I had it and it was external as everyone mentioned. The odd thing was no one told me to go with a full bladder but I did since it was mentioned on here. I'm wondering if it mattered.
