Re: numb hands?
Carpal tunnel - another side-effect of pregnancy.
You can wear a brace on your hand to bed at night. Also do certain excercises. I see a chiropractor and he does some manipulation but I sitll have it. Not painful for me but I still wake up with the numbness.
Unfortunately it is very common but I hear it usually goes away after the pregnancy.

I've got it too! The more I seem to do with my hands during the day, the worse it gets at night. I'm seeing an acupuncturist to help with the pain.

Re: numb hands?
Yup, I had it. Mine got to the point where I would wake up several times in a night with pain in my wrists and fingers and if I slept too long one, three fingers would swell up and bend over.
I bought a wrist brace and it helped.
Now that I have had the baby, it is totally gone and my fingers are normal again.

Re: numb hands?
I had it really, really bad. To the point that i had to lay in bed for 5 minutes or so after i got up to start getting feeling in them. It went away right after i had the babies...but i had it the entire pregnancy and it gets worse too. Sorry!

Re: numb hands?
I had it pre both pg's, and it's 150x WORSE now, def invest in braces, you will sleep much better and wont be in so much pain during the day.
wear them everynight to bed.

Re: numb hands?
My hands - well fingers are numb. I only have feeling in the pinky and ring fingers. I'm actually getting used to it - but not loving it. Hopefully it does go away after the baby is here.

Re: numb hands?
Same thing here. It's takes a few minutes to get them back to normal.
