Re: numbness in the arms and hands
I have numbness in my hands, Unfortunately, there is nothing that I know of that we can do. My doctor said it is very common.

Re: numbness in the arms and hands
i have numbness in my fingers that started around 35 weeks (now 39 weeks). It especially happens when my fingers are curled (usually while I sleep and when I drive). It is very annoying!!!! Hang in there...unfortunately my doc said it is normal too.

Re: numbness in the arms and hands
Unfortunately, I haven't felt 3 of my fingers in 10 weeks. They said there's nothing that can be done. Although, I heard accupuncture might help.

Re: numbness in the arms and hands
My SIL had the numbness in hands really bad the last 2 months of her pregnancy. Her dr. recommeded that she sleep with the carpel tunnel brace on. She bought it from Walgreens for like $25 and said it worked like a charm. HTH

Re: numbness in the arms and hands
I had that when I was pregnant. It started when I was around 20 weeks. There was not much I could do for it. I did find a carpul tunnel brace that looked like a cast, I slept with that at night (on the hand that was the worst) during the day when I was working I used light weight wrist braces so it could allow me to type. It finally went away about 3 weeks after Hayley was born.

Re: numbness in the arms and hands
I got this plus a burning sensation that went from my shoulder all the way down to my finger tips, especially at night, it would wake me up. my dr told me its common and to get those carpel tunnel braces. It was a godsend, instant relief and I would wear them during the day too here and there. As soon as I gave birth- it immediately went away. It started at 6 weeks of pg though so I had a long 8 months of torture with my hands and arms. good luck, get those braces- walmart has them for 14.99.

I've gotten this a few times in one of my feet recently. I also had it in my pinky only on my right hand...so weird....it's scary.
