Nursery Decor Question
We don't know if we're having or and we're not finding out.
So, I found cute bedding that was gender neutral and DH agreed. Now he has changed his mind and wants to decorate with Bambi. Then after we go through the whole thing he is worried about it being appropriate for a boy.
So, this would be the wall border: (scroll down thread for alternative border)
Do you think it's OK for a boy as well as a girl??

Re: Nursery Decor Question
I don't think there's anything strictly feminine about Bambi. It's really cute!

Re: Nursery Decor Question
I do think Bambi is bit more girl than boy but if I wanted it, I am not sure I would care.

Re: Nursery Decor Question
I don't think I would pick that if I didn't know what I was having... it's not necessarily feminine but it's not very boyish either...

Re: Nursery Decor Question
I know I often forget this, but Bambi IS a boy.
I think it can go either way.

Re: Nursery Decor Question
i dont think it matters BUT there are flowers and butterflys in it that could be more femine. i think it is adorable and if you do have a boy i dont think it will really matter that much

Re: Nursery Decor Question
Is this better??
As in, I know blue is better for a boy, but is it a bit more on the gender neutral side??

Re: Nursery Decor Question
Well we had planned on using my Bambi rug (which was mine when I was a baby) even if it was a boy....
I think it'll be fine....

Re: Nursery Decor Question
I think Bambi is fine for either a girl or a boy, but I like the blue border better - I think it is still gender neutral in some way!!
Plus, Bambi is a boy!
