Nursery Furniture Question

This may be a stupid question, but I'm confused so I'm going to ask it Chat Icon

Does anyone know the difference between a "combo" piece and a standard dresser? Is it a combo because it has both drawers & a cabinet w/shelves or is it because it also functions as a changing table?

I prefer the regular dresser, but if I can only use the combo as a changing table then I'll plan on getting that instead. TIA!

Re: Nursery Furniture Question

Usually a combo piece is a dresser with drawers and a cabinet. Most of the lower dresses can be used as a changing area.

I think a lot of times the combo also has a hutch option in addition to the above.

Ahhh...I thought so - thanks Ivylesse! Chat Icon

I just checked & the combo & the dresser are the same height, so I'm going to keep it on my short-list Chat Icon

Definitely check out the combos. I was looking at one set that had the combo and I liked the idea of having a cabinet for changing stuff.

Karen has a good point that a lot of combos and dressers have hutches also. I didn't get the hutch with my dresser so I forgot about the hutch feature.
