Nursery Mood Board - opinions/thoughts
Im still not set on which color will go on the walls, Im leaning towards the brown and aqua.
I just purchased a dresser off craigslists, that Im going to refinish and paint a pear green, which Im excited about!!
The pics are from etsy, but Im going to recreate them myself in photoshop with a more contemporary fonts.
In lieu of a mobile, Im going to do the paper laterns. Im going to order the fabric for the curtains and make those myself with hem tape.
I think that covers it.

is the rocker purchased already?
if not, you may want to think about getting one with arm pads. or seeing if you can make something for the arms. I had bare arms for my first 2 and it's not comfortable to lean on with the baby in your arms. just my $.02

I do, its the rocker from my nursery when Iwas a baby. I know what you mean though bc I used it for DS. Thats why I get the pillow for it, just for the purposes of leaning my arm on bc it does stink without it!

it is......I personally dont feel that green and blue and brown are solely for boys. I see no reason why a bright aqua and a fun bright green cant be for both, KWIM??. I had a blue room when I was younger, I have a brown room now. I hate BEIGE so I wont do beige anywhere in the house....DS gender neutral nursery was red and yellow, so Ive already done that, and then to me, the yellow and green was "predictable" for lack of a better word. I dont know, the scheme doesnt bother me one bit if it happens to be a girl.

Like it a lot! The only thing that I can think of is don't the paper lanterns all have holes in the bottom for the light? That won't be good for right over a crib. I've never seen whole ones before.

they wont actually be the light kind....just the paper lantern part....good looking out though, thanks!!!!!

I love it! I would never be daring enough to do something so bold and modern (I tend to be very "traditional" when it comes to baby stuff I think) but I still absolutely love it! I think it's modern, super fun, and will be stimulating for the baby to look at. I think it's completely gender neutral- I could absolutely envision either a girl it a boy in it. Can't wait to see pics of the real thing!
