Nursery "nook" done.. well pretty much
We pretty much finished the nursery "nook". We still want to hang some pictures of the maternity photo session.. and if DC is a girl we want to add some pink animals to the wall.. to "girl it up" a little.
If you remember... We have a one bedroom house. We never really intended for baby to be living with us long term... but, the economy had different ideas. We are stuck in a house with no equity until it turns around. We may be able to convert some other living space into a small room, if need be. But, for now, this will work for us.
So for those of you with a "space issue" or as DH and I put it "an incompetant house".... You can still have a cute place for the baby.

Thanks! I painted it green and then decoupaged on the "wall decals" that matched my bedding set. I just stuck them on and then covered it with clear coat.

Great job! We are thinking of possibly making our nursery in the nook in our master bedroom even though we have more available bedrooms. I think it's nice and easier to be closer to the baby! Your nursery looks fantastic!

It looks great. If you don't mind I would like to share these pics with my daughter. They are having the same issue with space and will be converting their walk in closet to the baby room.

So cute......and you could look at it AS a selling feature in the future. You have a master that can accomidate a nursery! I know that would be a selling feature for me if it were even a remote possibility someone buying a 1brm did get pg like you guys did.

How did you hang the quilt on the wall??
We just took 6 finishing nails and nailed one in each corner, along the seam and one in the top and middle bottom. I hope it holds!

I want to hang our quilt up on the wall just like you did, and was actually thinking about just using nails in the corner, but wasn't sure how it would look in the end. Yours looks good from the pictures, so maybe we'll just do that. Thanks!
