Nursery question
Hi Everyone!
I'm not pregnant, but my friend is, and she is having her shower in a few months. I looked at the registry, and I want to get her some decor for the nursery. But she has two different Winnie the pooh sets on her registry (bedding, rugs, lamps, mobiles, curtains, everything!)
No one has bought anything yet, so should I just pick the one I like better and hope everyone else will follow suit? Or should I subtly ask my friend which set she likes more? Or should I try to guess which one she would like more? I guess she can always return it. My main concern is that people will get from both sets and it will be all mismatched.
What do you think?
ETA:
I'd like to avoid her having to return things, as she is going to be 8 months pregnant at her shower and I'm sure that is the last thing she is going to want to do.

Re: Nursery question
If she has two sets, maybe she plans on switching on and off between the two. So she probably wants both and whatever studd no one buys her, she will get herself. I would just pick the one you like better and buy whatever pieces you were planning on.

Re: Nursery question
I would get her either. Like the PP said, I'm sure she had a reason for putting both on registry!

She would switch off bedding, lamps, curtains, rugs, and wall decor?

Re: Nursery question
Is one more for a boy and one more for a girl? My friend registered for both types of bedding and then returned the girl stuff when she had a boy. Just a thought.

Re: Nursery question
I'm stumped. I think you should call her and ask her about her reason for registering for the two sets. Then make your decision from there.

Re: Nursery question
i might ask her, like others have said. Maybe she plans to take one off the registry. I did that with some items... Like, I woudl pick somethign out and put it onthe registry and then show my husband online and we'd choose what we liked and delete the one we didnt, etc.
also, just wanted to say - wayto be a thoughtful friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm sure she won't want to be doing returns at 8 months preggo... i'm 38 weeks and am SOOOOOOOO tired of returning/errands, etc. it gets so hard. You are a great friend!

I was thinking that, but then it would clue her in on what I was getting her. I thought it would be better to be a surprise.

Re: Nursery question
If her shower isnt still for a few more months, maybe she is planning on going onto the registry and removing one set... i know that right now we are registered for 2 highchairs, two strollers, etc... we are just waiting to take a trip to BRU so we can see the items in person and decide which we like better...
