Nursery rug question?
Hi ladies...We are looking to get a rug for our son's nursery. We have hard wood floors and originally i was thinking of just a small area rug but now i am thinking maybe it is better to get a rug that covers almost the whole room...is it better for when he starts crawling to have the bigger rug or does the rug retain more germs and stuff making the hard wood floors better? TIA! Also, please post pics of your nursery's to give me ideas

Re: Nursery rug question?
I have an area rug over carpet. We orginally were going to refinish the floors, but the floor turned out having bad stains so we couldn't. The area rug takes up most of the room. It's from PBK.

Re: Nursery rug question?
That is a very cute rug! Do you think a rug is better when DC starts to crawl or do you think hard wood floors are easier to keep clean?

Re: Nursery rug question?
we have wood floors and no issue with them. I find them so much easier to keep clean esp when we have two cats. Carpets collect cat hair, dust etc from past experience in our old apt no matter how often you vacuum. It is so easy to just run a broom or mop over them. A throw rug you can toss in the washer might be easier as well.
