nursery school dilemma , I need help from BTDT moms PLEASE!
So as I posted we are thinking of registering DD for a PK3 at a Catholic school by us. I just called them and they said DD needs to be fully potty trained. Now DD is ALMOST fully potty trained, and she has been for a long time, she wears underwear all day and goes on a potty , BUT she refuses to go #2 on a potty,(). She will ask for a diaper and do it . And she still wears a diaper at night just until we move her to a bi girl bed. They told me if DD has a accident in school they will NOT change her be they are not allowed. They'll call me and I'll have to go and change her and we all know that accidents happen I'm pretty sure she'll be fully potty trained by September, but I can't be sure. The registration fee is $ 125 non refundable, it's one of those good schools so they won't have spots too long, registration started on the 8th.
I don't know what to do. Should I register her anyway? If I don't then we'll just take mommy and me class like we do now, but we'll do 2x week , it's 2hrs each class and then she'll just go to a public PK4 when she is 4 (she turns 4 in August) as originally planned.
what would you do?

I would enroll her. September is 6 months away. I'm sure you can have her potty trained by then.

I would still enroll her. Let her potty training takes it course. If she has an accident and you can be there to correct/change her (that it won't interfere in your day ie: work) then just be there for her. It will come in time, it might even help her to see other children going.
In my experience, I put DS in pull ups, told him not to poop that he wouldn't be allowed to go to schooll (No flames I had to use it as leverage) He never had an accident, also dry pull up. Although he only goes to school for 2hrs 20 min, he doesn't poop at school..he will only pee (school actually showed him how to stand and pee...I wasn't ready! LOL) And, he only wore the pull up until Dec, so two months total. Is that an option for you. Most schools will be willing to enforce the rules as long as she understands and physcially gets the concept of going to the bathroom on the potty.

I think I'm just going to register her and work on this potty training situation. We are going to visit my family overseas this summer , I'm sure my mom will have her pooping on a potty within days
