Nursery School moms, when does it get easier on us?

So Maddie's been to school alone twice. On Tuesday I dropped her off with no problem she walked away from me and didn't even say goodbye!Chat Icon Still I was a nervous mess the 2.5hrs she was there and was constantly checking the clock wondering how she was doing. Today when I dropped her off she noticed me walking out the door and started to cry which made me feel awful so again I went home and stared at the clock till it was time to pick her up. She was happy as a clam when I picked her up and they told me she was fine after I left so she is obviously adjusting well just wondering when the knots in my stomach will go away?

I've gotten lucky. DD hasn't cried as as time goes on loves it more and more and talks about her friends and her teachers.
Honestly I am enjoying the 4&1/2 hours to myself. Chat Icon

I would just wait it out though, the first week was the week I worried and thought about her the most. Now that I know she's in good hands and enjoying herself I don't even give it a second thought.

Same here! Julia did transition classes before she started so she got use to going to the school, that helped a lot. She also takes dance class and gymnastics (in her 2nd year) and were not allowed to stay with them, so that also helped her not to freak out if I'm not with her.
