Nursery Scool in Wantagh/Seaford/L-town...
DD will be 2 in June. I've been told I need to start looking NOW to enroll her for September.
I am looking for a place where she can go 2 or 3 days a week, 2 or 3 hourse per day. I would like it to be a place she can grow with, and attend up until kindergarten.
Any suggestions???
TIA!

Thanks -- not too interested in Toddler Time as I prefer a place that doesn't have to answer to "Corporate".
Anyone have any recommendations or personal experience with any of these or others? I have the list of local places, just looking for recommendations on particular places, TIA...

Not sure of the same but it is on 106/107 (south of Boundry, North of SSP) it's next to a church. I think Diana1215 knows some people that send their kids there.
I know you said those area, but their is also Peanuts in Farmingdale right on Main St. which I don't think would be to far from you.

Re: Nursery Scool in Wantagh/Seaford/L-town...
Our Redeemer in Seaford is a co-op. When I looked into it for dd I was told that a parent helps out in the classroom every day on a rotation. I couldn't bring ds and didn't have anyone to watch him so we couldn't go there.
We go to Wee Friends. My only complaint is how much food is brought into the classroom, but that's only b/c ds has a food allergy and has been given food he's allergic to. I don't think about it with dd at all.
Maplewood in Wantagh, have heard great things but it's expensive.
Pixie in Wantagh, have heard good things from my neighbor who teaches kindy in L-town schools, but don't know anyone who sends their kid there.
My friend sends her 2yo dd to the school at the Lutheran church in Wantagh on Island Rd. She loves it, and it's very inexpensive. I'm pretty sure she goes 2 days a week for like 2 hours.
Having a mommy moment and can't think of the other schools in the area that I've heard about. Will update if I start thinking clearly again.

We may be sending DD to Peanuts in the fall. I am not sure how young they take them. She'll be a few months shy of 3 at the time. My friend's children went there. I believe it's in Farmingdale.

Places that have to answer to a corporation, where the bottom line on the balance sheet is the most important number. Not that every place that is a corporation would be like that, but I am interested in something that is more local, locally owned and run. I have my own business so I am always more interested in supporting local business if that makes sense...

Re: Nursery Scool in Wantagh/Seaford/L-town...
I think you are confusing Toddler Time in Seaford on Hicksville rd, (site of old Massapequa General hopsital) with Tutor Time a child care/nursery school chain.
Toddler time is fantastic I sent my son to Our Redeemer before finding out about Toddler time and my daughter has been at Toddler time since she was 2. It is a high quality, state of the art school with wonderful loving teachers. Safety and cleanliness are major priorities here (very important IMO). I cannot say enough good about it. It is NOT a giant corporation. This is their only location. You owe it to your child to check it out. Quite pricey, but way way better than others I've been to like our redeemer, and Seaford Community pre-school, and Wee friends.:

When we were looking at schools we looked at Wee Friends and IMO I didn't like it there for a few reasons. I liked Peanuts in Farmingdale and Wind N Willow in N Massapequa the best
