Nursing Bras and Tops
I am hoping to breast feed and was wondering if breast feeding bras , sleep bras and tops are a necessity?
If so any you specific brands/stores you ladies would recommend?
thanks!!

Re: Nursing Bras and Tops
I personally think that either nursing bras or tank tops are necessary. I wore either one everyday until I stopped nursing. I bought both my bras & tanks from walmart, and really liked them.

Re: Nursing Bras and Tops
I didn't use any sort of sleep bra or nursing top (I never nursed in public so I didn't need one). Regular nursing bras were definitely a necessity though! Unfortunately it's been over 2 years, so I don't remember where I got mine - sorry that I'm no help there lol
ETA: Like the pp mentioned, I did also have 2 nursing tanks - they were pretty comfy & I liked having them.

Sleep bras and nursing bras were a necessity for me. The tanks, not so much. I needed the sleep bras because I leaked like crazy and they hold the pads in place but aren't as restrictive as a regular bra. My favorite nursing bra is by Pea in the Pod. It's so comfy!

Re: Nursing Bras and Tops
I think tanks or sleep bras are needed in the beginning when your boobs are insanely large and uncomfortable. Once that subsides, not so much. You can spend less money on these.
Nursing bras are an absolute must IMO for during the day. I personally loved Anita nursing bras-- they are not cheap, but I have big boobs and a good, supportive bra that gives a nice shape is a necessity for me.

Re: Nursing Bras and Tops
I loved the Target nursing tank tops. I wore them all the time. I didn't buy any nursing tops. I had a Medela sleep bra that I bought from one of the maternity stores that was very comfortable. I never found a nursing bra that I loved, but I'll probably spend the money on a Bravado one this time.

Re: Nursing Bras and Tops
When I was FTWM and EP, I wore a nursing tank or nursing bras every day. I found I liked the ones at Target the best, and I preferred the underwire demi-style bras over the tanks but I would wear either depending on my outfit for the day.
