Re: Nursing Salary
Roughly in the mid 60s. this varies based on the type of hospital and floor. Also, this does not reflect the true income potential of doing overtime

Re: Nursing Salary
I have 2 friends who came out of nursing school and were offered jobs from $75-80k to start.

Re: Nursing Salary
I've been a nurse for 10 years and can tell you it really varies but LI is on the lower end of the pay spectrum unless you work in a specialty area such as the Cath Lab (very few hire new grads). If your in Nassau I would consider traveling into Queens for a better pay

Re: Nursing Salary
I know someone starting at $65 on LI, but that includes night differential. My mother works in the bronx and the pay is a lot better. LI is definetely on the lower scale of pay for nurses.
