nut allergy help
My daughters school decided it is going to be nut free. I have to bring a treat for the kids on monday for my DD's bday.
I was going to bring munchkins..but I am assuming that is not good since some of the donuts have nuts.
What else can I bring that is totally nut free?

Re: nut allergy help
Hi, It's nice of you to be condisderate. Ava is 3 and has a peanut allergy. Her school is peanut free, but they allow in Munchkins. I do not allow her to eat them. Our Allergist said not to and the Dunkin Donuts in Plainview now has a sign up that says their products may contain peanuts.
Some suggestions:
Dixie cups ice pops oreo snack packs cheese doodles hostess cupcake (the ones with the cream in the middle)
Hope that helps.
*****I just saw pp suggesting home made cupcakes. Ava's school will not allow any foods in that are not labeled.
