nutramigen powder formula question
Ok, yet again im posting about nutramigen.. forgive me.. I had switched my DD from the RTF Nutramigen to the powder form of Nutramigen last thursday.. and the past day or two I've noticed that she is throwing her head back and arching her back during the feeding and seems uncomfortable. She screams during the feeding and is eating less too because of this. It seems like it could be gas... yet AGAIN. Did anyone have this experience from switching a RTF to a powder form? Is it possible the powder formula could be causing gas?

Re: nutramigen powder formula question
my ped swears that the powder causes more gas than the RTF, however many girls on here did not experience that.
Go back to the RTF and see if it gets better.

hey there.. my DS has/had the samething where he would arch his back; stiffen up and just fight me through his entire feeding.. my ped. said that it could be a mild/moderate form of acid reflux and we put him on Pepcid. While DS was not throwing up he must've had acid coming up to his throat causing the burning and discomfort. speak to your ped and see what he/she says.
good luck.
btw- we switched DS formula 2x and he's on Nestle Good Start with comfort proteins.. it seems to be working.
