Powder formula question...

I remember my peditrician telling me powder formula makes a baby more gassy. Does it make the baby have to burp more or pass gas?

DS is on powdered Elecare and seems to have a lot of painful gas. I'm not sure if it's due to the powder.

I don't think it makes any difference, I never heard of that before.

Thanks!!!! maybe I missed understood him. I thought he told me my DD needed to use only ready to feed when she was an infant since she was sooo gassy to begin with and the powder formula would make her worse.

I'm going back for a check up on Friday, I'll ask him again.

Re: Powder formula question...

If you shake the bottle to mix it it might create more bubbles...do you stir it or shake it?

Hayley was on Gentlease and it didn't matter if I shook it or not there were no bubbles
