My guess is Cornell or RMA.
I'm glad they pulled through. How devastating to lose an IVF cycle (with all its expense) because of the storm.

Wait, I thought it was the incubators?
I just like to think of Grifo calling up Davis (old pals) and being like, "Dude, we're f*cked. Can we borrow your incubator?" and then the X-men-style mad dash uptown in a blacked-out NYC to save the babies.
It's very romantic and a little bit like a comic book

Ah, well, not as far uptown as the others, but still movie-worthy heroism. I vote Dennis Quaid to play Dr. Grifo

NY Fertility Clinic Saves Embryos From Hurricane Sandy
Here is the link:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mobileweb/2012/11/01/nyu-fertility-center-power-outage_n_2059309.html
I just re-read the article. The woman mentioned in the article in the OP was seen by RMA – NY. New Hope Fertility then allowed NYU to use it facilities for retrievals and egg transfers. I think SIRM was also able to use the facilities at New Hope. From what I understand, Columbia however should be ashamed of themselves! A woman on another board I frequent was on around her 7th day of stimming and merely got a recording from Columbia saying that all cycles had been canceled and to stop using their mere immediately! Can you imagine? They basically made no effort at all to help their patients that were in the middle of cycling. The real shame of it is that New Hope is literally a few blocks away from Columbia. That same woman on her own srambled and went to New Hope and they are finishing her cycle as we speak!!
I have to give kudos to New Hope.

That is disgusting that Columbia would do that!!! To not make an effort to help a woman who is stimming to save her cycle is horrid and they should be ashamed of themselves!!!

That's not even the worst of it. The accupuncturist of this same woman told her that one if her clients, another Columbia patient was turned away for her egg retrieval on Tuesday- no warning, no alternate plan. I just can't believe Columbia would do something like that.
