NY/NJ traffic question (getting out of town)
DH and I are heading to the outer banks in a couple of weeks.
If we leave Eastern Nassau at 5am, do you think we would be able to get out of Jersey without hitting traffic? and by Jersey, I mean Newark traffic areas.

You should be fine. DH leaves for work around that time and hits no traffic driving at all driving to Queens/Manhattan border. No one's on the road then!
