I have heard that you are not allowed to write on your student's work!
Is this true?!?!?!!?!
I can't imagine using Post-Its on every paper they write!!!

I've never heard such a thing, but that may be the way things are done in your school.

Re: NYC English teacher's
Thank goodness.
My school did not tell me this, another teacher was told this at a school she interviewed with. I was hoping it was NOT something that was done throughout NYC. Thanks

Re: NYC English teacher's
It really depended what Region you were in and the thoughts of that Region's LIS. We were told not to directly write on student's published work (final copy). We had to write comments on Post Its or on a task specific rubric instead.
It wasnt a hassle at all.
