NYE-entertainment for kids, various ages.
We are having 2 other families over to our house for NYE.
We all have kids, they range in age from 1 through 13. 7 kids total.
The 1 year old (mine) will be in bed, that leaves 6 kids 3-13 to entertain. What do I do with them?
We don't have a wii.

Board games. On Christmas some of the older cousins liked playing things like memory, Elefun and Hungry Hippos with the younger kids.
I'd set up a table for them to make their own NYE party hats.

I just made play doh with my kids... ages 1, 4, and 10, and everyone had fun!
For each color, you mix 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup salt, 1/2 cup water, and a few drops of food coloring.
I like the decorating the hat idea too.

Go out and buy a wii immediately or let them drink. Those are your only two reasonable options IMO. 
I agree about the board games. Maybe coloring books, or a movie and snacks. Target sells these "all about me" jewelry making craft kits for around $10.

I know a family that counts down the different countries that celebrate before the US.
Complete with appetizer, music, etc.
that's a whole lotta work though!
