NYS Attendence Laws?
what is the maximum amount of absences that a student can have at a high school level before they receive an automatic fail? I remember in HS they implemented this concept but don't remember if they still had it and what the number was. TIA.

I think schools vary. I know at my HS in Queens they are allowed 11 per MP (3 MPs semester).

I think they are supposed to maintain 90% attendance for the year.....
