NYS Infertility Demonstration Program?
Does anyone know anything about this? We're supposed to start IVF in about 2 weeks but my insurance doesn't cover anything. DH also needs TESE so this is going to cost us a small fortune. I just found something on my RE's site about the Infertility Demonstration Program. They never mentioned anything to us about it, but according to the site, we should probably qualify.
Has anyone applied to this? I wonder how long it takes to get approval...especially because we're scheduled to start so soon. TIA.

Thanks! I'm going to call the office tomorrow since they're listed as a participant. It can't hurt to ask...Just wish they had told us about this sooner. We don't really want to push our start date back any further.

It looks like it considers cots after insurance reimbursement/payment so you may have to go through the process before finding out if you get any assistance anyway. I just skimmed through it so I could be wrng.

From what I can tell, each practice has their own funds. So maybe try another practice? I'm totally making this up, though. I tried calling my RE and nobody in Finance is in until Tuesday so no answers for me either. I have a feeling this will all be OOP.

Most facilities run out of funds right away. It is like taking five million dollars dividing it among the clinics, then dividing it among the first patients that ask for it. Nothing is ever easy.
