O time
So I started taking the ovulation predictor tests on Sat- day 12 since my period. The first month off the pill I was 29 days, and then last month was 30. So intheory I should be ovulating about now, but the tests keep coming up negative. So do you think I may have missed it, or maybe I'm just a late ovulator?

Re: O time
Keep testing. Best times during the day to test are between 10 am and 8 pm. Try to test at the same time every day, but if you feel you are around your ovulation time...then test 2 x a day. CD 12 is still early for O, if your cycles are 29 days, you may be ovulating cd 15.

Re: O time
Thank you so much for putting me at ease. I would hate to think that I had missed my O time. So I've tested on day 12, 13, and today 14, so I guess I'll keep testing until I get that darker line.

Re: O time
keep testing. My period was between 30 and 32 days and when I used those sticks it turns out I ovulate later than day 14 and 15.

Re: O time
I know how frustrating it is, but you might just be having a longer cycle this time than you are used to
This past cycle I ovulated on CD20, so you might very well get a surge/positive OPK yet
Good luck!

Re: O time
Well at least I'm not the only one who seems to break the "guidelines." I guess I'll just keep testing. In another two days I'm going to have to buy another kit.

Re: O time
I personally never saw the lines clear on OPK's and wasn't sure when I O'd. I confirmed my O date by temping. Have you tried that yet? The Basal Thermometer is cheap.

I think temping is the next step. I'll see how it goes this month with the o-test, and if we don't get preggers, I will start temping. I don't know why I had the vision of getting pregnant quickly. It looks like it's going to take a while longer than I had hoped.

I think we all do. I was just telling Redstar how now that I've had a m/c I'm tainted and jaded and don't think I'll be able to relax and enjoy my next pregnancy. I hope that isn't the case.
There is nothing wrong with fantacizing that you want a baby, you get pregnant, and all is well. I think we've all done it. For some it comes true, for others it doesn't. I've learned the female body is VERY complicated, lol. I will be more thankful and will feel more blessed than ever when my time does come again, that I do know. There are more success stories than bad stories - so stay positive and keep BD'ing!

Re: O time
That's what I'm hoping. I think it's possible that I just o-late, but I'm getting a teensy bit nervous that I'm just not going to this month.
