oatmeal with fruit mixed in??

NEW MOM here...
we just started rice cereal and we are going to start oatmeal now..

i just saw oatmeal with applesauce and with banana already included in....

is that worth getting, or should i just mix them in myself??

i gave DS some spoonfuls of baby applesauce in the cereal and he gobbled it down...

just wondering which way to go??

I love the using the mixes, it's so easy and DD loves them.

I would be careful though since you are just starting the fruit because you need to start each fuit for a couple days to check for allergies. The oatmeal mixed with fruit may say "oatmeal with apples", but sometimes they mix in other fruits, just read the ingredients :)
