OB/hosptial question

did you choose your doc based on the hospital or based on the doc itself?

if you are choosing a certain doc/hospital, why are you choosing them?Chat Icon

I picked them based on both. My doctor was associated NSUH-Manhasset and that is where I had all my fertility treatments done so I knew it was a good hospital and I also knew that they handled high risk patients and I was one of those also.

I've been going to my doctor for years, so I never even thought of changing.

Re: OB/hosptial question

I chose my doctor based on both factors, although this wasn't the only factor either. The hospital we'll deliver at is the newest and most state of the art in our area with a great NICU and maternal-fetal medicine unit (I'm high risk since our twins share a placenta), and our regular OB is a doctor that only delivers at this hospital.
