Why is it that tax codes that benefit the many are marxist, and tax codes that benefit the wealthy are acceptable?
FYI to all the tax code critics: ALL taxes are a redistribution of wealth... either you're a libertarian, or you agree with getting taxed.
McCain himself initially voted against and criticized the same tax plan he now endorses as being unfair to the middle class in 2001... funny how his opinion has changed since then.....

if you watched meet the press this morning, mccain was on and was asked about his change of mind- they played a video of him making that statement from back then.
he explained that he changed his mind b/c the world has changed- our economy has changed- we were not facing any sort of economic crisis the way we are now.

biden was being given the chance to lay to rest all those comments about socialism, etc and explain why he made that comment about obama will be tested in the first 6 months. and instead of explaining, he got mad and shut down.
on meet the press this morning, mccain was given some very difficult questions, and he answered them all. you could tell he wasn't happy with everything being asked, but he kept his cool.
biden and obama have been given a very easy ride. the media did the same thing during the primary debates- when obama would get the easy questions and hillary would get the hard questions.
it's no different- the media has been pushing for obama from the get-go.

Honestly, I thought Biden answered the questions very well.
The questions in regards to comparing BHO's tax policies to Marxism are certainly not what you hear discussed on more mainstream shows like Meet the Press or Face the Nation but he answered it perfectly fine.
As for being questioned about the "being tested" comment Biden made, well, to me, that's just old news. I think he's made it MORE than clear that he feels WHOEVER gets elected will be tested and that he feels (obviously) that BHO is better equipped to handle it. Why she asked about that is beyond me but whatever.
As for them cutting off interviews with this station - I think THAT was a mistake. I think that makes the campaign look bad and them look like cry babies.
You need to have a thick skin if you're gonna be President or VP and you have to be prepared to suck it up and answer difficult questions. To me, this was the Obama campaign throwing a temper tantrum and that was stupid.
As for the reporter's questions... I don't honestly believe they were that difficult to answer but I do think they were a bit strange - ESPECIALLY the Marx comparrison question.
I think both parties involved displayed poor form - the reporter for asking stupid questions and the Obama campaign for throwing a hissy fit and cutting off any future interviews.

those questions werent "difficult", they were ridiculous. "Marxist"? are you kidding! the only reason Biden may have appeared dumbfounded was because he couldnt believe the stupidity of those questions.

I thought the interviewer was quite lame...her questions weren't out of line, but she couldn't segway for her life and it made her look stupid. I also heard that her husband works for the McCain camp...so maybe not the most objective person to interview Biden.
I hate the use of Marxism describing Obama...Marx predicted that the working class would violently overthrow the middle class to create a classless (socialist) society...I have yet to hear BO telling the proletariat to break their chains and rise up against the bourgeoisie.
Honestly if we are going to have a revolution, I personally believe it will follow the French Revolution model. The middle class is getting crapped on by the wealthy. Trickle down just doesn't work with the sin of greed.
