OBGYN IN Islip Area
Hello
JUst wondering if anyone has a good obgyn Doctor in the islip area (high Risk)or otherwise?
I am looking to change mine since she is so far away from my house.
I appreciate all help

Stay away from Southbay Obgyn. Many people on here can tell you nightmare stories.

I've read the horror stories. I go there and see dr Jurak. I love her. The front desk staff can be a little cold but I like the drs and nurses there. I unfortunately have never used them for a pregnancy so maybe that's where people don't like them. I know I've heard of ppl talk about another ob right on Montauk hwy in w islip a few blocks from South Bay. Try doing a search on here for old posts

I just switched to Dr. Antonidias in West Islip. He is right on Montauk Highway a few doors down from Good Sam.
I am so happy with him so far!!

Dr Polcino in North Babylon is great. He used to be with South Bay OBGYN but left years ago. He is wonderful and he is who directed me to see my RE. He is on Deer Park Ave

OBGYN IN Islip Area
I don't have much experience of ObGyn on the south shore but if you can find Laura Dotti NP (used to be in Oakdale) she was great; Dr Leo in Deer Park (father Sal and daughter Amy) on the North Shore Dr Welischar and Dr Davenport I hear are fantastic :) Good Luck

I was about to call south shore and now I might think twice :)
Did anyone hear or have experience with dr Dupree and Dr Murphey

I adore this dr...
I switched to dr a at 20 weeks from South Bay. It was like night and day. After seeing dr a for only a few weeks I developed blood clots and he was my savior!!!!
He beat me to good Sam and was amazing for the balance of my pregnancy. He is honestly so caring and makes you feel like his only patient. I also had to see a high risk. Dr a sent me to Madonna and I saw dr Goldstein. He was great to. He is very honest and to the point. No bs with him. I loved it cause at that point I needed to know exactly what I was dealing with etc.
Staff at Madonna was great too. Never have a wait in either office.
