OB's that work with Dr. Kofinas - Miller or Cafaro?

Hi, I am considering switching to either Dr. Miller or Dr. Cafaro as a new OB. Is Dr. Miller's first name Jeffrey? I was looking through some old threads and saw a lot of girls loved him.

Does anyone have a preference? They are both (thankfully) covered under my insurance, so I am wondering which one to see. Thank you!

I saw dr Cafaro for my first pregnancy and I really liked him a lot!!! Due to some issues with my first pregnancy I am seeing dr kofinas for this pregnancy. I am switching to dr. Miller. Dr kofinas said he would work with either. The reason I chose to switch is bc I have many issues that are making me very high risk and dr kofinas seemed more confident with miller in this particular situation. But he will work with either. They really are both excellent!!! Dr Cafaro helped me keep my son in till al out 35 weeks and I am very grateful to him!!! Fm with questions!

Miller (yes, it's Jeffrey Miller) and Cafaro used to be at the same practice so I've seen them both. Miller ended up delivering DD. I liked him. I saw Cafaro for 3 or 4 checkups. He was ok, not much of a bedside manner but clearly a very good doctor. There are two other OB-GYNs at the practice with Cafaro now and if you go there for OB care, you'll have to see all of them because you don't know who will deliver you. One is Dr. Rosenthal, who I liked, and the other is a woman who joined when Miller left and I haven't seen her yet. I like that office - blood and sonos are done there (well, blood is down the hall now...) and the wait time is short if you're an OB patient.

I'm actually trying to decide myself if I want to stick with that office (which I like) or follow Miller to his new practice in the same building. I'll be following this thread to see what other people say!

Thank you! I went today to Kofinas for bloodwork & my consult w him is in about 3 weeks. I was told that Kofinas may want me to see Pilliterri but I'd prefer Miller or Cafaro. What are the wait times like there (on average)?

I am a Kofinas patient. I did a lot of research on this issue, conducted interviews, and went with Dr. cafaro. I have since seen Dr. Rosenberg in his office as well, and I think I liked him even better than Cafaro, but I really like them both. My friend who recommended me to Kofinas delivered with Dr. miller and was very happy.

Dr Miller is in the practice that I go to. The office is great. I don't see Dr Miller, I see another dr. However, their appointments are very good. I never waited more than 15 mins. All exams are in done in the office. Really, really nice drs. I am very happy with them.

i gave birth 3 months ago and dr miller was my OB. i went with him b/c kofinas recommended him and i honestly had a great experience. miller is SUPER calm and always pleasant. i was extremely high risk and i felt that miller was very on top of my case. his office is friendly and on most occasions i didn't wait very long to get in.
