WHITTIER, Calif. - Southern California's octuplets mother may be moving to a new home and getting help to raise her brood.
Nadya Suleman's father Ed Doud is purchasing a $564,900 house in the city of La Habra in a deal is expected to close Friday, said Prudential Realty listing agent Mike Patel.
In a related development, television's Dr. Phil McGraw said Monday that Suleman will accept a volunteer group's offer of nursing care for her children.
Suleman has been living in a Whittier home that is owned by her mother. But that property is being foreclosed on because the family is more than $20,000 behind in mortgage payments.
The 2,583-square-foot house in La Habra, about 20 miles east of Los Angeles, has four bedrooms, three baths and a large, fenced-in backyard. The master bedroom features a walk-in closet.
4 bedrooms for 17 people (16 DC plus mom). That's going to be "snug"....

Octo-mom and her mom can't pay the mortgage. I'm guessing her father can? He's the one buying the house....

Ok, so they can't afford the one house in moms name, so they'll just foreclose on that one. Now dad will buy a bigger house which they probably still can't afford just so this nutjob can bring these kids home. This is just another dose of disgusting for this family.

Nadya should go on Dancing with the Stars.... and extreme makeover can come and fix up the new house... Dr. 90210 can fix her fug lips... and then she can try to find love again on the Rock of Love bus (the kids will have all those nannies so they're fine while she's away).

Does anyone know is she is getting paid for all of her Dr. Phil appearances? If so, she probably gave that money to her dad to buy the house. Her credit is shot. The house could never be in her name. When is this country going to stop rewarding people who make bad decisions?????

But in all seriously how can they afford this house if the first is foreclosed. That is the million dollar question. It seems like Octomom is getting her way and it is a shame that the dad is falling in this "wacko's" trap.

Suleman probably raked in a lot of money with her interviews--I'll bet anything that's what is paying for the house, but why she isn't buying it herself, I don't know. Maybe so her parents are ultimately responsible for the mortgage?
I don't want to see her on any makeover shows, she deserves nothing in my opinion. I am glad her children are getting nursing care though--no way this nutjob can take care of all those kids on her own.

She is something else.
I will say though, I was watching TMZ last night and the paparazzi were at their house and she was trying to get her kids inside the house. One of her older sons wasn't listening and she was yelling at him to "stop playing with the paparazzi"... I thought it was hysterical!!!
She's a freak and all of the money she is getting from interviews and such she will probably use for more plastic surgey.... I mean God forbid she actually uses it for her 5 million children.

I'm glad to hear the children will be taken care of- but I wish this would stop being news. This is a sick woman who is getting rich of the exploitation of her children. And every news source reporting on it is feeding the fire.

I hope whatever money she is getting goes straight to her kids. I don't think the kids should be punished because she is nuts. It is a relief to hear they will have full time nurses looking over them.

I really think this whole thing is wrong. Sorry call me heartless, but she is getting exactly what she wants.
Did anyone see Dr. Phil today??? The woman isn't even appreciative of all the things they were donating to her. She sat their with this dumb look on her face. Six newborn babies in the hospital ready to come home without cribs, diapers etc and she's sitting on national tv saying all she wants to get her children are mobiles. Sorry but the woman is a quack!

I found this while looking around and I just went at this line:
"I earned this," she told Radar. "I did this myself."
Uh no you did not earn anything and another thing the house is in her father's name not hers. She is very wacky and not appreciative. Oh and the officials says her house is not ready for the babies. It has to be majorly babyproofed according to them.

Well good for her kids!
I grew up going to school with a family that had 14 kids. I think they were each a year apart, and there was one set of twins. They lived in a four bedroom house also. They made it work. The kids have all turned out to be pretty "normal". I wish the same for her and her family.
