Off-the-Shelf Web Site Building Services & HTML Coding Question
Anyone know a good, and reasonably priced service?
Or, if there are any HTML geniuses out there, how can I re-direct a URL to an existing site?
I can create a web site through iWeb on my Mac, but the URL is long and funky, so I'd like to be able to purchase a more "user-friendly" URL and re-direct to the site that I can build and host for free.
Thanks!!!

where are you uploading this site? if you are uploading to a free service they MAY have some domain/URL restrictions.
it sounds like you may need to configure your page creation program and service to point to a new domain (once you buy it) and possibly a new host, not necessarily redirect.
i can help you, i just need more info...

Re: Off-the-Shelf Web Site Building Services & HTML Coding Question
thanks for responding-- I am not even sure what you are asking me--
Basically, I was thinking that I would create a web site using iWeb, which basically exists to post photos, videos, etc.
The address is web.mac.com/firstlast.blah blah
I don't want to use that URL to promote my site-- but, I also wanted to save the $25/month to create a site using one of those services.
Any ideas??
