"Official" - I'm taking these PILLS thread....
Okay - so maybe we can have an 'official pills thread'....
I'm curious to know what you supposed to take to help you conceive OR what you ARE taking that you think may help you conceive???
I'm taking Target brand Pre-Natal Vitamins & am interested in finding out what else I should consider...
I've seen some comments about Primrose, Fish Oils??

I have been on 400mcg of Folic Acid a day for a few years. My DR to me to take 800mcg instead of taking prenatals.

I am taking 800mcg of Folic Acid (when I remember to take them  ) My dr. said that the Folic acid is really all I needed so taking a prenatal isn't necessary.
ETA: This month I am also taking CVS brand "Mucinex" pills during my O time, which I just started yesterday-CD11.

okay - i just picked up my new Target Pre-Natals and they have 800 MG of folic acid in them.
I guess no supplement is needed!

I take the Target brand prenatals as well.
You can also take Omega 3, also during PG is good too.
If you have a short LP you can take a type of B vitamin to help elongate it as well.

My OB/GYN suggested the following:
Prenatal vitamins(I get Walmart brand Spring something???)
Folic Acid..yes I take 1 pill on top of what is in my prenatal
Calcium Citrate...it has to be citrate
Omega 3
All of these 1 pill each per day

so I'm guessing my women's multivitamin won't cut it? It has 400mg of Folic Acid...I guess I need more than that and should go with a prenatal vitamin? Fish oil too?

2 OneSource brand Prenatals
2 B6 Supplements
2 B12 Supplements (not for TTC really)
1 Omega 3 Fish Oil Pill

They say "PreNatal Vitamins" or something like that
I don't know that they come in chewable or liquid form

The Target ones say Pre-Natals. They are good to take all the time - one of my friends still takes hers and she hasn't been pregnant for more than 5 years!
I won't lie - they aren't small....but for what i've seen - they don't come in chewables...
