I failed my 1 hour test last week Chat Icon and have to take the 3 hour test next week. Ugh! I'm so not looking forward to it. I really hope,I don't fail again. Otherwise I've been feeling pretty good. I'm surprised my sugars were so high, but I had a cold when I went for my test and had been having a lot of cough drops, so maybe that had something to do with it? Also, I guess taking the test right after the holidays didn't help Chat Icon

So I just had my GD test yesterday and it wasn't as bad as I thought. I made DH go with me since everyone kept telling me how sick they felt after. I felt completely fine. The drink wasn't so horrible either. It tasted like one of those orange quarter drinks you used to get in the bodega as a kid. I won't find out til Monday if I passed though. I'm really hoping to not have to do the 3 hours test! Chat Icon

How's everyone feeling???

Hopefully you passed! I didn't find the glucose drink bad and I'm glad I didn't talk to other people about it before because I went on my own to the appointment and came back to work afterwards--I guess people have bad experiences with that test!

Feeling good just shy of 27 weeks. I did just go for a run and think my running days may be over though. I had to pee the entire run and when I got back to my apartment to go to the bathroom, there was no pee Chat Icon So I think my LO is just getting big enough so that the bouncing is pushing on my bladder. Oh well. Oh, and he thinks 2am and 5am are play time so not sleeping much but it could be worse.

Yeah that's what worried me, too! I tried to be good the few days before the appointment but I don't know if that mattered. Hopefully I'll get my results today. Chat Icon Good luck on the 3 hour test- I know a lot of people fail the 1 hour and then pass the 3 hour.

ETA: Yay, I passed! But I am slightly anemic and need to take an iron supplement. Boooo! I'm not surprised by that though, I don't really eat red meat.

YES! I am SO tired, it's like the first trimester all over and I hate it! I passed out on the couch at 7pm last night. I'm also way over emotional again. This is no fun. At least the end is near. Chat Icon

Can't believe it's a month away! I'm definitely slowing down and soooo tired now. I don't remember feeling like this with DD #1 but then again that was 8 years ago and I was a lot younger Chat Icon The heartburn is really bad too..

Oh and to top it off I"m still nauseous Chat Icon Chat Icon

OMG! Thank God I haven't had that since about week 13. I look back at those days and think "how did I survive?!" Chat Icon

And it's great when you ask the doc what you can do to relieve x, y, and z and she shrugs and says "deliver the baby." Chat Icon Gee thanks, doc! Hope your nausea goes away at least! Chat Icon

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon So exciting to have a definite end date!

I'm exactly 1 month to my due date and I'm soooooo done. Chat Icon I haven't had any growth sonograms or exams, but I do have one scheduled for Tuesday so I'm excited to see where I'm at. Maybe she'll tell me I need to go on bed rest Chat Icon because otherwise I plan to work right up until I go into labor. And just the THOUGHT of that exhausts me. Chat Icon

I really truly thought I could work up until I went into labor but my pelvis hates commuting on the subway! I'm lucky that I can technically work from home though, I know that's not so easy for you to do. My first official day working from home is this coming Tuesday when I'll be 38 weeks! So should we have fingers crossed your doctor tells you that you need to stop commuting?Chat Icon

Ugh I don't blame you! That's so exciting!! Are you guys all ready at home?? If they could route the phone calls to my house, I would absolutely do it. I think I'm going to switch to the express bus next week so that I'm at least a bit more comfortable than the battle royale for a seat that is the subway. But the pressure on the pelvis is ridiculous- I walk like someone learning to walk in stilettos for the first time or just waddle. Chat Icon Chat Icon And if I try to walk normally, it huuuuurts.

Chat Icon Yes, please! There's still so much to do I'm kinda hoping and praying she says I need to go out earlier! Chat Icon I'd love just a solid week at home to clean, meal prep, and SLEEP! But I doubt it- she's tough. If that's the case, I hope my walking helps get this baby out sooner.

So I just had a growth sono yesterday and even my doctor was surprised.

I'm 36w3d and Ava is measuring at almost 7 lbs. Chat Icon And tall, though they didn't give me an exact number. She's in the 70th percentile. And no signs of imminent labor. She expects me to go to at least 39 weeks.

I know, I know, these growth sonos are notoriously inaccurate, I'm just hoping she's not as huge as they are predicting. My doctor was doing the measurements and the screen shows estimates for how far along it thinks I am based on the measurements and it was estimating 38w5d. Chat Icon

I should've seen this coming though... DH is 6'8".

I had a growth sono Monday at 36w1d and baby is 7lbs2oz so I'm with you.

They predicted DD #1 to be big and she was born at 39 weeks at 7lbs 5oz.

Have you had an internal yet??

That makes me feel a bit better! I'm hoping if she is big, at least she'll be super tall so she'll be stretched out. lol!

I haven't had an internal, but the doctor was in the vicinity doing the strep group b test. Chat Icon Baby is in the head down position but not too low yet so that's why she said she thinks at least until 39 weeks.

I go next Thursday for my first internal exam and I'm dying to know!

ETA: At least the doctor said I was hiding all that baby pretty well! Chat Icon

I now get why internals are disappointing. I was 1cm dilated and 50% effaced at 36 week internal and got excited. Well, two weeks later at my 38 week, I'm still in the same exact position. Boo.

My little one measured at 7lbs11oz at my 37 week growth sono. I know those aren't accurate but crazy to think that a week later, my kid is already an 8lb er. Let's hope he comes early.

I am due 4/9 but probably being induced earlier due to high blood pressure. At my 38 week appointment last week I wasn't even finger tip dilated or anything. My daughter's weight has changed at 37 weeks they said 7lbs 2 oz and last week they said 6 lbs 10 oz, so I am curious what she will be tomorrow.

I am due 5/1 but its looking like I'll be going early due to a big baby and gestational hypertension.

I go for a growth scan tonight and then I see the OB tomorrow and I'll have more information then. I'm pretty sure I'll have a baby in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

My repeat section is scheduled for 4/12, but I may try for a vbac if I go in to labor before then. Can't believe it's less than 2 weeks away!

But I started feeling what I'm pretty sure is mild contractions on and off since about 3 am. Nothing too bad or regular. But enough to wake me up a couple times. Wondering if this could be the start of labor, or just Braxton Hicks. Just had an OB appt. Yesterday, and he said my cervix was still closed.

Looking forward to hearing of the first April baby born!

Not checking up on anyone individually (since I can't stand my family and friends asking me every day what's the latest) so just post your story when you have your baby (and have some time for LIF)!
