Re: ******Official February 2014 Mommies********
february ladies...are you hearing this talk about potential storm? my EDD is 2/8 and right now there is a storm predicted for a few days before AND a few days after.
i know i cant control the weather. but if we do get a bad snow storm, it is highly likely that my family (who lives farther than DH's family) wont come see the LO till after the snow is all cleared
i know its not the worst thing in the world. but i'd obviously prefer it not to snow. lol

i'm on the opposite end, and on the same day. EDD is also 2/8, but i am not worried about my family not making it. i'd love the alone time, since i'm probably going to end up with a c/s.

yeah, i am hearing the same reports about feet of snow. pft. how the heck are we supposed to get to the hospital? i mean, i'm all for home births, buuuut.... i might need a c/s :( frightening. but trying not to put too much weight on it. if worse came to worse, i might stay at a hotel near the hospital... if it came to that.

and really, they are saying it's too far in advance to really know if we'll be getting a storm at all, let alone 30+ inches.

I'm freaking out about it, but that is just how I am. All three hospitals that I can choose from are 25 mins away from my house without traffic. I trust my husband would be able to get me there, but I dont wanna give birth in the car!!
I'm due Feb 21 but my dr is saying i'll probably have to be induced/csection earlier due to high blood pressure. I am hoping I can pick when I want to go so i can work around any snow!

it's the final countdown for me! 5 more days i'll be at winthrop. and this little one keeps bopping in & out of my pelvis, so who knows. i did get some amazing back spasm like feelings over the weekend. so intense it woke me right up in the middle of the night. they were strong, radiating waves of agony below the waist, low in my back.
