Re: "Official" Knitting club

I think that sounds great!

Maybe you could start a list with our names and general location so we can come up with a central meeting point.

If we decide to meet at a Starbucks, here is there store locator.

I would be interested also - are you in Nassau?

Where would we meet??
Starbucks sounds great...

Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I'm thinking the same thing. 8 feet... 11 feet... that's still one looooong scarf. I don't think that I have the patience to knit something that long Chat Icon

I was like the Energizer Bunny
I kept going and going and going.
But my favorite sister is exaggerating - it must have been about 6 feet.

It was a long chunky black scarf...I thought it was cool. Good for tripping people!

I think the 1st Saturday of each month is best that way it's easier to remember.

So we'll plan for the first meeting to be on March 1st? That date is fine for me. Since we're probably going to be a small group, we should probably do a check-in before we meet up each time also. I'm just thinking that there will be times that some of us won't be able to make it and it would be awful if only one person showed up at that time.

Now we just need to scout a location.

Since we're looking on 110, I just want to warn that there's a Starbucks by one of the movie theatres. It's a pretty small one, so we should probably avoid that one. Other than that, I really don't know the area that well.

I agree that one is small and Saturday are busy since it's by the Theater.

What are our other options?

If we're the only ones that are available for the first meeting, maybe we should try scouting a location.
