Re: *****Official May Mommies to be Thread******
I haven't done anything yet. -- have not painted, no bedding, haven't shopped for furniture or even registered. We picked out a traveled system, and I'm looking into daycare but that's about it. Hoping I'm not the only one who is behind!

25 weeks and doing ok. I have some lower back pain, but other than that, feeling good.
I have my glucose test next week. I failed the first one with my daughter, so I hope I don't have to take the 3 hour one this time around!
Picked a theme for the nursery, still deciding on paint colors. Have a few names in mind, but nothing definite yet.
Hope everyone is doing well!
103 days to go!

27 weeks - only 89 days to go!
Passed my glucose test
Was at L&D this morning due to painful cramps. Turned out to be dehydration. Baby is looking good and on the sono we could see her practice breathing!
Started buying some basics in terms of clothes etc. since my first was a boy.
Pretty much done with my list of things we need to buy, just have to start getting everything.
Up 19 lbs as of 27 weeks. Not great, but not horrible.

My body is ready for this pregnancy to be over, but we have a lot to do and not much time to do it! I passed my glucose, but I have unexplained blood and protein in my urine. Hoping this is just due from dehydration. I have to drink a lot of fluids and I will be back to the doctor next week. I am in shock that 2 week visits are going to start! All and all this pregnancy has flown by!Hope everyone else is doing good!

Re: *****Official May Mommies to be Thread******
I found out on monday that I failed the one and the three hour - I'm scheduled to see a dietician and have glucose monitoring counseling this weekend.
I was bummed out about it a little but I didn't fail by that much and I don't think I'll really have to change my diet too much either since I'm not really a HUGE sweets person. Hardest part is going to be limiting the carbs for me. I just keep telling myself it's only 3 more months and it could definitely be much worse.
Other than this I feel great so far. No backaches, no real pains, etc.
As far as being ready for the baby - well we're getting there... DH finished painting the room last weekend and the windows and closets are all cleaned out. Just really waiting for the furniture to arrive!

Hi all! I'm hanging in. The days seem to be dragging, and I'm insanely jealous of all the updates I am seeing of people who are having their babies. Our time will come, I guess.
Baby's room is being painted this week and furniture is ordered. I still have a long, long list of to dos, but writing them all down seems to be keeping my off the ledge, so to speak.

Re: *****Official May Mommies to be Thread******
Hi Ladies!
So I failed my one hour glucose test, and passed the three hour one yesterday. The same thing happened when I was PG with DD. Just glad it's over.
I was telling DH today that I am just done with being tired and having no energy.
I am making myself nervous because I am still only feeling movement very low, and not much in my upper belly. I have an appointment tomorrow so I will express my concerns, but I am trying my hardest to stay positive. After having a MC last year, I seem to be thinking the worst.
I am having a bad day today, sorry...

Re: *****Official May Mommies to be Thread******
I am feeling okay... I try to stay positive during some of the tougher parts of the day thanking my lucky stars that I've had a relatively easy pregnancy and reminding myself that it could be so much worse!
I have nights where I sleep fine and others like the past 2 nights where I just toss n turn... Been falling asleep by 9 recently and waking up at 11-12am and seeing that I still have sooo much time until morn irks me... Since I know its going to be a rough night sleeping I have a snoogle coming in the mail soon so I hope that helps me! I feel like Im being prepared for those sleepless nights, but as crazy as this sounds, at least with the baby here, I'd actually be DOING something besides stariung at the freakin clock waiting for morning to arrive
I have days when my back aches and days when Im fine... I feel like its a crapshoot with how I'll be for the day, which is how I felt first tri with the nausea
I believe I start the 3rd tri next week and already feel like Im done with pregnancy... Not bc its been so bad for me, but just bc I miss being my normal self... Having my body back... And of course Im ready to meet the little one!
Nursery hasnt been started yet... Keeping the same paint color so one less thing to do... And having someone come in tomorrow to measure for carpet installation... Thats 1st on the list... Then onto installing a closet system... We have all the furniture so thats one less thing to worry about- just need to put it all together

Re: *****Official May Mommies to be Thread******
As far as I go... Sleeping is ok, not too bad right now. But everyday when I get home from work I dont want to do a thing except sleep. Sometimes I take a nap and then in bed not too long after, its bad. Heartburn is getting worse. But most of all I love every moment when I feel him move. He is moves a lot!!! As far as the babies room just waiting to move and get it all together

Hi ladies! Feeling great here! Surprisingly so actually! I am having some heart flutters but I had those with DD and doc said its dehydration plus my heart just working harder these days. A few Charlie horses, but I had those with my first too and know how to stretch them out better now. Other than that I really feel good. Going for one hour glucose test on Saturday....which I failed with DD (by one point!). Hope I pass this time. Hope everyone is feeling well!

Re: *****Official May Mommies to be Thread******
Feelings pretty good. Really tired but this week has been exhausting at work. Thank God for Winter break next week. DH and I just closed on our house 2 weeks ago so trying to get that all ready, only problem is I can't be in the house while they are demo certain rooms so I have been trying to do all of that from my parents house! Hopefully we'll be in there soon! Sleeping pretty well just getting up once a night to pee and then falling back to sleep pretty easily, but changing positions is a big PIA!!! feeling good though and can't complain!

I haven't yet although it is very tempting! I want to wait until after my shower to see what we get from there.

I'm not buying a lot, but more like buying the same thing over and over. My nursery theme is elephants and I'm slightly obsessed. No matter where I am, if I see a onesie with an elephant on it I buy it. The poor kid is going to be living in elephant onesies for the first 3 months of her life. I think I've bought at least 10.
