Re: **Official November 2011 Mommies Thread***
I'm doing pretty good....feeling like my normal self. had ONE flutter over vacation and haven't felt it since. 16w5d.
In the process of switching OB's because I want Stony Brook Hospital...makes more sense any because I live 3 minutes from there, whereas my current hospital is 15.

I'm doing great! I feel totally normal other than my growing belly and I must be obviously pregnant now because two people this week asked me when I am due.
I have had very slight movement and we find out a week from today what whether we're having a or a

Re: **Official November 2011 Mommies Thread***
hi everyone. So we are going to register tonight. I am excited! There are a few things we will wait until next week to add (we see the Dr again and will confirm 2 boys and "hopefully" find out the gender of Baby A)
I can feel what I have been calling a weight shift when the babies move. I "think" mostly Baby B. Excited every day to feel them more and more.

Hi everyone At 16w I'm feeling good --less tired and more hungry! I'm coming out to everyone, including my supervisor, at our monthly staff meeting tomorrow. I'm a little nervous because in the past she hasn't been the nicest to the pregnant ladies or new mommies... and I have to tell her there are 2! Wish me luck!

Re: **Official November 2011 Mommies Thread***
I had my 19 week sono last Friday. Everything looked great and baby looked healthy and scheduling on time with estimated due date. All body parts and measurements appeared normal. My cyst is still there on my one ovary but went down from 8 cm to 6 cm. They said they aren't concerned as will most likely go away after birth. I am hoping they at least will monitor it so I get another sono out of it :)
I did find out the gender....and I was right with my instinct as it was a It still feels unreal that we actually know and seems weird to say "she" instead of "baby" even though I knew deep down it was a girl.

I am feeling pretty good other than my terrible back pains all the time...but that is something I have come to accept that I will have to deal with the rest of the pregnancy.
I have been feeling fluttering around more often. Can't wait til they start kicking!!
I am 19wks today...since my dr won't let me go passed 38 weeks I am halfway done! Can't wait to meet them!

Re: **Official November 2011 Mommies Thread***
Friday will be 20 weeks for me. Staying team much to DHs disappointment. Our level II is June 27th. Cannot wait to see the baby again.
We went to Babies r Us just to look around and it was quite scary. I used to be a manager at Baby Depot and I never knew how terrifying it was for those mamas. The other day I was relying on some young man (boy really) for his advice.
Trying to decide on whether to get a travel system with the car seat and stroller or just start out with a seperate car seat with a Snap n go. I know I'll use a stroller come x-mas shopping, but will I want a new stroller once the baby is out of the car seat.
Any insight/opinions?

Strollers are very confusing to me! I think I'm leaning towards the snap n go and then another stroller. But then again, I change my mind every other day!

Re: **Official November 2011 Mommies Thread***
We found out on Friday that our baby is a girl Unfortunately our good news was overshadowed with a call from my Dr. yesterday to say that one of her kidneys is dilated but that he's not overly concerned. Of course I googled this and found out that it could be a soft marker for something more (I can't even bring myself to say or think it) and now I'm terrified that our baby won't be healthy. All my tests came back great and my Dr. feels that is a better indicator than the sono but they are going to repeat the sono next month. I'm praying that this corrects itself or is just a kidney issue that can be corrected after birth and not a genetic disorder.

I know easier said than done, but try not to worry. If it starts to bug you, can you ask your Dr for an earlier sono?
We found out today that we are having . Very excited! :)

Re: **Official November 2011 Mommies Thread***
I'm 18w1d today and feel great. If I didn't feel movement everyday I could forget I'm pregnant. Other than a couple of minor dizzy spells and the occasional constipation I can't complain. I'm going to enjoy this while it lasts bec. it probably won't last long.
Two weeks from today is my level II sono. I hope everything goes OK. I can't wait to find out the sex
