Pink-- I love both cardis! I really love the first, bc of the houndstooth, even though I am opposed to open draped sweaters. The second I think I would keep for the coziness factor. Love the striped top. I also think the peplum looks great on you, but I personally wouldn't keep it. Just not hot on peplums. Jeans...meh!
Seawolf- I LOVE our dress on you! Also love the floral/dot shirt. The layered one I am meh on. I like the striped top and the scarf, but for me, price would be the deciding factor for both.
ETA: OK, just read that you didn't keep the dress. Sad! But, I love love love that shirt, and I think I would keep the striped top too. Looks so comfy and chic!

Yayyy!!!!!! you got it :) I'm going to be a jerk and say how much I love love love that dress on you BUT I hate when I don't feel like I look good in something so I get why you sent it back.
I'm so in love with that brown top you're wearing today! You must post another pic because I bet you look awesome lol I'm wearing my houndstooth cardigan as well! (and we totally do have the same body!)

Thank you so much!! I'm still very insecure about the dark hair so that makes me feel great. 
I'm definitely keeping the Houndstooth Cardi, wearing it today!
Also, keeping the striped shirt.
Definitely NOT keeping the peplum or the jeans.
The only thing that i'm still unsure of is the tribal cardigan. I'm leaning towards NO because I have so many cardis already and don't feel like the creamish color of it does anything for me.

I love the hair too! I would never have guessed that it wasn't your (or close to your) natural color!

Pinkgoose - You are too cute, very pretty and love your hair.
I like the hounds tooth cardi, the peplum top and love the stripe shirt. The second cardi does looks cute on you though but I see why you wouldnt keep them both. I love the first one on you.

Seawolf: I know you returned the Dress but just wanted to say it looks very pretty on you. Love it. I also loved the second top and the scarf so pretty.
I noticed alot of tops they send are see through or really thin material. I want to schedule my next fix but I still havent worn stuff from my last two fixes.

The dress was a very heavy crepe material - very thick. And it was lined. Definitely a high quality piece, I just didnt see where I would wear it!

Ah, oh well.
Most of their clothes are just for them. It is because in the beginning people were finding the clothes that were available other places cheaper.

Actually, quite a few of the items that I've rec'd are from brands that they also carry at both Anthropologie & Nordstrom. That dress just happens to not be one of them.

The brands might be but the actual piece probably is not. Early on the had issues with pricing so they started making deals with designers for pieces.

I don't know what their deals are w/designers. I do know that so far in MY personal fixes 2 of the items I found the same (brand/color/style/everything) on Modcloth for the same price (although, no sales tax through Stitch fix!) and one item I found the SAME one on Norstroms website. Maybe my fixes aren't the norm, who knows.
