Officially an orphan...
I know this sounds absolutely rediculous, but there's a part of me that just feels so lonely & like the little girl I once was, but this time instead of being surrounded by my Mom, Dad, Brother & Grammie - I'm all alone.
In 2001 my Mom passed, 2007 my Brother & Grammie, just yesterday my Dad.
At 32 years old, I'm this lost little girl missing her family so much. I know this shall pass, but there will always be a part of me missing from now on. There won't be those to share the stories from when we were little.
To top it all off I'm pregnant with my first child. No one from my immediate family will be physically present to see my baby. I know in spirit they're with me every day, but sometimes it would be nice to just see the smiles & them holding my baby. (and me the lonely little girl.)

 I'm so sorry for your loss.
It's not silly. My mom was in her 40s when my grandfather died & I remember hearing her say she felt like an orphan too.

your post breaks my heart. i m so sorry for ur loss. my dad died when i was 17, i have no grandparents left and i always think that if i lose my mom i will be all alone and it is so sad and scary. please know that u r not truly alone and u have many angels in heaven looking out for you. i could always use a sister if you wanna be mine? :)

I'm so sorry for your losses. I loss both of my parents at age 20, which was 20 years ago. Its the hardest. FM me if you ever need to talk.

I am so sorry for your loss
I can't imagine how you are feeling now being pregnant and wishing you had your family here. I hope it helps to know they are watching over you with love

Im so sorry for all your loss. they are all watching over you.
maybe you can make a story-type scrapbook for your baby to look at years from now, and im sure it will be healing and therapeutic to make one, of photos of all your precious loved ones...
even though many of us are strangers on here, there really is a sense of caring on these boards, so know that we are all here for you
