Officially homeowners!
I'm kind of reposting from the other post, but...
The closing went really smoothly! The closing costs were a bit more than I expected because we had to give them the money for the tax bill due on May 31st, and prepay the interest because its the beginning of the month. Its ok because I thought we were just going to have to pay the tax bill when we got into the house, I didn't realize they were going to to it at the closing... and our first mortgage payment isn't due until July.
Now the work begins. It seems kind of overwhelming, but I am excited to watch the progress!

Congrats!! I am a fairly irregular home poster, but your posts help me realize that maybe one day i will own a home.
