Officially joining this board.
Hi There! my name is Lu-Ann and I have been lurking here for a little while since I was waiting for my son to arrive.
Well, my son also got sick of waiting and was delivered by emergency c-section on 9/28. He spent some time in NICU, as his birth almost cost us both of our lives.
Things have settled now, and we are home, so I look forward to getting to know you all, and sharing in the wealth of knowledge this board has to offer.
Please welcome Parker.

I had an emergency c-section too, although we weren't in much danger, it wasn't exactly expected. FM if you have any questions or need advice about your recovery.
