My first beta was 16 and 2 days later it was 66.
I'll be 28 weeks tomorrow.
So as everyone said, it's not the initial # that matters, just as long as they are doubling!! Have another beta done...

Thank you everyone. Right now I'm praying for the best and expecting the worse.
My next beta was suppose to be tomorrow but I will be away until Monday night and they said I can do it Tuesday morning.
However, I called my OBGYN and they said I can do it today at Quest. Aren't the numbers suppose to go up every 48 hours? I did the beta test 24 hours ago and i'm hoping thats enough time for it to rise.
As far as the progesterone I don't understand why they don't want to give it to me...i'm so frustrated. My RE thinks it won't help. I just left a message for her to call me back and I'll demand it. If not I have a good friend that said she can give me some of hers.

I was going to say, if your doctor won't give them to you, I had some I could give to you. So, if for some reason your friend falls through somehow, let me know!!!
Also, your beta should double every 36 hours, but you'll see if its going up, anyway. Don't worry!!!

I also have them...but I have to say, my RE told me that once they get a positive beta the progesterone won't make that much of a difference.
The time when you really need the progesterone is during the 2WW....once the HCG kicks in your body shouldn't need the progesterone supplements.

Yes, this is what my RE told me but then I started reading stories about women who were pregnant and went on progesterone suppositories because their progesterone was low. I think they are on it for the first trimester. I did a search on LIF and a number of women did take this at the beginning of their pregnancy.
Also like a friend told me, it doesn't hurt to try it. I think the worse that could happen is it doesn't work but at least I tried.
I went to Quest an hour ago, I'm hoping to get good results later this afternoon but i'm not getting my hopes up too high. Thanks

Thanks girls I'm still waiting for the results.
I finally received the prescription for the progesterone suppositories (100mgs) depending on my results I will start them tomorrow morning. I'll update once I receive the numbers.

IF you get a prescription for the suppostitories there are only a few drugstores that make them. ( they are handmade) Kings Pharmacy in Brooklyn718-230-3535 and they will deliver to your home.
I know that your dr wasn't writing one, but just in case.
